Kona Yuki

Last winter, Mike Handford, Tim Herbert, and a crew of Niseko locals set out with the aim to spend a month climbing the lesser known volcanoes of Japan's north island of Hokkaido with the hope of a rare ascent of Mt Rishiri in the Sea Of Japan. 28 feet of snow dropped over the next month, sending the crew on a different journey. One they maybe should have expected as they spent every day surfing through the deepest snow of their lives.
